Kucing Pink is not on the Google Play Store, so you install it by sideloading the APK. The whole process takes under two minutes: download the official v2.5.6.4 file from our download page, allow your browser to install apps this once, open the file, and tap Install. This guide walks through each screen so nothing surprises you.
Before you start: what you need
You need an Android phone or tablet running Android 5.0 or newer, about 200 MB of free space (the APK itself is only 27.85 MB, the rest is breathing room for the install), and a browser like Chrome. No account, no VPN, no root.
Step 1: Download the official APK
Open our download page on your phone and wait for the 6-second countdown to finish. Tap the Download APK button. Chrome may show a warning that the file might be harmful; this is Android's standard caution for every APK from outside the Play Store. Tap Download anyway. The file lands in your Downloads folder.
Step 2: Allow the one-time install permission
Open the downloaded file from your notification shade or file manager. Android will ask you to allow your browser to install unknown apps. This permission is scoped to the browser only, and you can revoke it afterward in Settings, Apps, Special app access, Install unknown apps. If you are nervous about permissions in general, our permissions guide explains every permission Kucing Pink requests in plain language.
Step 3: Tap Install and wait
With the permission granted, tap Install. Android unpacks the 27.85 MB file in a few seconds. If you see App not installed here, the download was likely corrupted or storage is full; re-download the file and free up space, then retry. Our not working fixes cover every install failure in order.
Step 4: Open and start watching
Tap Open (or Done, then find the pink icon in your app drawer). There is no login screen and no setup wizard. The home screen shows trending anime immediately. Type a title in Search, pick an episode, choose a server, and press play.
After the install: two quick wins
First, revoke the browser's install permission if you like keeping things tight; the app keeps working either way. Second, check our safety breakdown in Is Kucing Pink safe so you know exactly what the lab verified before you stream your first episode.
